Compass Vion type HA82

Compass, Navigational, Armée de l'Air, Vion Type HA 82.
This is a fine example of a Navigational Compass as used in French aircrft , likely pre-WWII.
Small levers on either on either side of the round 'vibration mounts' tighten and release the security of the grip of the mount to the compass body. The compass has a adjustable glass prism that permits reading of the compass from an angle without having to view from directly Overhead.
Comes on a wooden base.
A real historic aviation item.
